Line 1: This template embeds [[wikipedia:COinS\|COinS]] metadata in the HTML output, allowing [[wikipedia:reference management software\|reference management software]] to retrieve bibliographic metadata. {{crossref\|See: [[wikipedia:Wikipedia:COinS]].}} As a general rule, only one data item per parameter.
